I’m living the dream today. As Shoe Tuesday begins to grow and take on a life of its own, I can sit back and let the photos come to my inbox.

Our first entry is from reader Dingle. Dingle is a 30-something year old bachelor who does 140 press ups every day, breeds Daffodils and can gargle the Lord’s prayer…IN DUTCH!

“I like these wellington’s”

he opines

“They are relly gud”.

and I think we can all agree that yes. Yes they are.

Our second photo comes from “boywonder”. BW is an amateur proctologist who enjoys dressing up as characters from Enid Blyton novels and re-enacting the stories (although not at the same time).

He was on a business trip to Guilin when he saw this chap wearing what can only be described as shoes:

“In a way”

he says

“this character is the antithesis of the man you featured in a previous post, who was wearing a pair of casual yellow converse shoes with a formal business suit.
Megadeath rule.”

Last but by no means least is this pair of pump rockers from Kristi.

“I spotted these at a gay pride festival”

she may well have said at some point.

“Things got pretty wild when the sun went down, and I saw these shoes making out with another pair of Vans.
At least I think they were Vans, they might have been Converse painted to look like Vans. It was that kind of party. You know what I’m saying.”
