Qingdaole
A few more things I saw in Qingdao.
Ordinarily I would string this stuff out over several days, but you know life moves pretty fast- if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it (RIP John Hughes).
Aaaand we’re done with Qingdao.

If you wanna get ahead – get a hat… or maybe 20!
Love the hat seller, guess it makes for a quick getaway if the cops show up. ‘No officer, they are for personal use only.’
Love the shell dog – quite the collectors item. What is the tongue made from? On second thoughts don’t tell me.
As for the crab sticks, bet you can’t find them in Sainsbury’s – eeww!
Not going to mention the candy, I don’t even want to think that one through…
The shelldog’s tongue really freaked Emma out actually.
I bought the brown trilby that guy has in his left hand, it was 15RMB, but when I got it wet in the sea it just fell apart.
Not sure how you could bite through the shells of those crab sticks- I went for Squid, the safe option.
SJ – they should be soft shell crabs – deep fried and crispy!
“Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?”
I won’t touch seafood in these waters – the lead gives shellfish a dead taste.
My dog would have loved a new shell-toy tho, the old one has been dry-humped to pieces.
Colin, to avoid geting a dead taste you can eat the shellfish while they’re still alive.
