I’m going to start from the mildly interesting and build up. By the end of this post, parts of you will explode.

Here are some shoes with a weirdy heel I saw on a tall lady. She was a model type- striding down the street with her Giraffe-like legs, we get a lot of them around our way, they all stay at the URBN hotel.

If someone opened a restaurant on JiaoZhou Lu that only served lettuce and had kneepads next to the toilets, they’d make a bomb.

Next is a pair of shoes I saw in Leather Tree on Julu Lu.

They can make any kind of footwear you like in there, so for extra comedy value you could get them to put these characters for “右” (right) and “左” (left) on the wrong feet.

Finally here are some high-heeled flip-flops with what seem to be plastic bedknobs on the heels.

I know. Awesome.

Anyone who doubts whether I can stretch this feature out until the end of my time in China clearly understimates the imagination of your average Chinese cobbler.
