This thing is kind of being organised on the hush-hush since the Shanghai police enjoy shutting down cool stuff even more than they enjoy napping in police cars. But I’ve been talking to one of the guys running it and it turns out I’ve seen most of the DJs before. You’re in safe hands.
Here’s how well they know their stuff in fact- one of the guys (or girls- I can’t say*) is promising to play a track that samples the creepy Shanghainese theme tune I’m obsessed with. Ace.
So I’ll ask you again; free entry, cheap booze, great music, three day weekend. Does it get any better than this?

I was thinking about both A-Trak and then warehouse shindig. Anyone got any ideas of timings for the two?
No idea…when A-track finish or I get tired of him if he gets too much hip hop i will go to that warehouse thing…
This all sounds all very well and good, but will there be a special guest appearance of Shanghai’s most famed ukulele exponent? I don’t want to travel thousands of miles in my personal Concorde only to find he (or she*) isn’t on the bill.

Yep that was a fun time, hot in those warehouses, but good music, and people. Photos later- mix now
I wanna throw a warehouse party but I need a warehouse, idk how it works like do I go around random warehouse and ask their owner if they would rent it to me or do I break in and book it when the cops raid the place, idk i need an answer soon!
