Bee and Flower soap
There’s something very old-fashioned and pleasing about the packaging on this soap. I was oddly drawn to it, and even bought a cake during a recent trip to the Supermarket.
Obviously I’m never going to actually use it though. I’m not a woman.
If you liked that, you might like...

Ah, the same thing happened to me! The layered packaging is so irresistible :)
im thinking of importing those to Sweden
yeah, i got one of these the other week, it’s currently sitting on the shelf in my study
Have you tried the Bee and Flower shampoo James, it’s pretty good and still selling well amongst the more traditional consumers.
Shampoo? Shampoo?
“I’m never going to actually use it though”
Thank Mao for that! When I saw the word “soap” in the title I was fearing the worst. “Swiss has really gone over to the dark side now,” I thought.
I have to fess up here – I own about 40 bars of it – it looks pimp in my soon to be vacated apt bathroom.
For some reason they stopped selling it dans le Carrefour, so if I see It I stock up.
Luckily Metro still has the common sense to keep it in stock, so I buy boxes of it there.
Its actually quite a nice soap!
Smells decent, and cheap*
*Not that that has anything to do with it, well maybe just a little…
Lawrence ‘not going to be seeing my ass on the ‘iist anytime soon’ Sheed.
http://www.iwantone.cn -> Fridge Lingo – buy one or we shoot the puppy.
James – Yes, shampoo. You know, the stuff you use to wash your …. oh, I see what you’re getting at.
By the way, your spam filter isn’t up to scratch this Lawrence guy is everywhere pimping his bloody fridge lingo.
…and a happy birthday to you too WoAi! :)
That soap is excellent. You will soon be addicted.
Does anyone know whether Bee and Flower soap is tested on animals? Also, it says it contains no animal by-products, but it has tallow as an ingredient. I know that some tallow can be plant based, but does anyone know what kind of tallow Bee and Flower uses?
why does it say “Sandal wood” soap? what does that mean??
lawrence: that link is pretty cool, do you who started that site, and how did you find out about it?
At last, one soap for Bees AND Flowers.
Love the packaging as well. However, I find it a tad drying on my skin. Smells heavenly though.
Woai & Swiss – I literally laughed out loud at the shampoo thing.
@Shopgirl – Another one of my ventures into capitalism 走发财。。。
Ask James; he has more info, and if I post another link, WoAi will either shoot me, or make me use the soap, and you know what happened to Dingle (http://dinglespeaks.com/?p=717)
Lawrence.
Interesting find, my man. Curiously, is this soap intended for cleansing of your sandals, or your wood? This certainly puts the venture back in venture capitalism.
you can all go to hell, I look awesome!
Lawrence – If you send me over a set of those fridge things, you can post as many links as you want. I’ll even publicise it for you on my blog which has over 12 million readers daily!
I was planning to give you a bar of soap for your birthday, and some instructions about not bending over in the shower, but I guess a “Fridge Lingo Fridge Magnet available at http://iWantOne.cn and I’m totally not putting keywords in here or anything” set will do instead.
I shall endeavour to slip it to you tonight then*
*Deliberately phrased for others to make fun of, start your engines…. and comment. NOW!
Not sure anyone would fancy slipping anything to Swiss even for a massive fee. As for those bars of soap, I’d love to give Shopgirl one after hours.
david: of course you do
Lawrence, many thanks for slipping me the gifts (plural). I will be enjoying the soap if I ever run out of Jo Malone shower gel in between trips to London.
David, I think it’s a given that we all would. She’ll be here in just a few weeks. Can’t come sooner (no pun intended).
Good grief- I think this whole comments thread needs a cold shower- with or without sandalwood soap.
