Shoebags Worldwide
I tell you what we haven’t had for a while, SHOE BAGS!
Here are a couple from some Nigerian fashion blog called Bella Najia. Apparently these things are big on the streets of –insert the name of a town in Nigeria here–.
And from my own eagle eye- here are a couple of horrors from Bangkok.

Forget Swine Flu, the next global pandemic is Shoebag Fever*!
*I’m going to look pretty silly if we all die of the Pig Sniffles aren’t I?

All these bags made from shoes are all very well and good, but what about this summer’s hot hot fashion item, shoes made from bags? Tesco’s is pioneering a new anti-waste program, turning old plastic shopping bags into designer footwear at low low prices. They’ve come in for some criticism from the eco crowd for shipping all the bags to China first to be assembled into shoes by the requisite slave kids, then shipped back to Western markets. It would be a great laugh if those Somali pirates think they’re hijacking a shipload of HD TVs, but all they get are ten million bag-shoes.
Well I suppose every little helps.
Anyway, how do you know that the pirates don’t want ten million bag-shoes? Maybe that’s all they’re after and they’ll leave everyone alone once they get them.
I suppose there could be a lack of decent bag-shoe stores in Somalia, so the pirates are being forced into it by desperation. An untapped market there for sure.
I’ve read the CIA fact book on Somalia and there isn’t one single mention of a bag-shoe store, nor of a shoe-bag night market or corner shop.
I don’t really want to say any more online, but I think we have uncovered a significant money-spinner.
I know this Nigerian Prince who is willing to give financial backing.
T- actually the finance is no problem because I’ve just won 1,350million (ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDERD AND FIFTY MILLION) euros from some lottery I never even entered.
