Shoe Tuesday: Hot asian girls in boots
Outside Metro City in Xu Jia Hui I saw this nice young lady promoting a beer-like drink called Budweiser.
This type of girl can be found at most bars around Shanghai where middle-aged white men like to drink, promoting lots of different things: Jaegermeister, Carlsberg, Tiger, Underberg, respect for women as equals in the workplace- you name it.
It’s rare to see such a creature out in the open like this though- notice how disorientated she looks without someone flirting with her in bad Chinese!
I’m kind of dubious over whether this kind of thing is OK or not, but let’s be honest with ourselves: the boots are cool.
Besides which, every now and then it’s nice to toss a bone to the salivating masses who trawl the internet trawling for “hot asian girls”, “smoking chinese chicks”, “asian girls in mini-skirts” or whatever it is they google for in their lonely bedrooms after lights out.
So there you go hot-asian-chick-lovers! Consider your bone tossed!

Dirty white boots! Eek! I always keep my white boots clean.
I wish they made mens versions of these outfits. I would love to hit the town in an acryllic jacket / trouser / boot combo with ‘Worthington Bitter’ printed all over it.
One of the great pleasures of my life was when I lived in Hong Kong – my roommate was then a fledgling fashion designer and one of the things he did to pay the bills was design beer girl uniforms. (Foster’s and Tsingtao I remember with vivid clarity – there may have been a San Miguel and others thrown in there). He was also very gay, so girls didn’t really care about getting naked in front of him – so sometimes I’d come home from a long day of work to a half naked “sample” beer girl undressed in our living room with scraps of pleather and vinyl covering the couch and coffee table and did I mention half naked girl half dressed as he cut and re-cut the uniform?
I often think of such images . . .
T – The difference is that now it’s no longer just you thinking of that image!

Angie, have you seen those Icon Kitty boots for riding? Those are delicious and scandalous!!! PS. Are you riding right now?
Colin – I am very afraid of what WoAi would get up to in a pair of those long boots. (What you see, you cannot unsee, what you imagine, you cannot unimagine)
All I can say is I reckon I would look better in those white boots than James or Dingle. Anyone disagree?
