In 7 years here I have heard so many ‘hilarious’ sexist quotes from young ‘educated’ guys here - had I written them all down I could have written a book on it. It’s a step up from the usual that appears in every country, especially as it’s often mixed with taught nationalism to superb effect.

As usual, the best way to unravel/enjoy such thing is to reverse the situation or use a different conext.

Who has heard this from a ‘white male’ in Blighty: “No no, Mr Chen, Julia Roberts is not attractive at all, we English have different ideas about beauty, in England we like big eyes and the hips must be slender … ” etc etc

I have witnessed first hand school classes where teachers tell the kids “We are Chinese, so we like red and we think that beauty I ….”

It could never happen back home …

Do they think we all smell of cheese as well?

Neil - I don’t know good or bad you mean by ” smell of cheese”, cuz maybe to you smell of cheese means delicious, but to some Chinese it is just awful….but there are indeed talks among Chinese about bad smell of foreigners though,,,just so you know.

No idea how them white folks put those decomposing heaps of goat excreta into their mouths. Maybe that is why her body is no longer that good.

In Korea they said that us white folk smelt like Lamb, I hear that in Japan they say we smell like butter. Not me though, I just got out of the shower, I smell like the Body Shop (men’s section).
