Pic Lens
OK OK, apologies for being a terrible geek- but I just found a little widget today which I think is the canine’s generative member.
It’s called Pic Lens- you just install it once, then when you put your mouse over a picture on some sites (flickr, a google image search)- you’re suddenly engulfed in a magical 3D room of related images like so:
You can whirl all of the photos around, click and zoom in on them- oh just all sorts.
My friend Rachel-Lynn traveled over land and see from Corea to Kanada then uploaded all the shots on flickr. With this thingy I can sweep across three continents in the blink of an eye, like Christopher Reeve in Batman.
