Laris Martini Rocher
Last night I went to a very fashionable restaurant called Laris.
That’s twice in one week that I’ve been to The Bund, I’m in danger of turning into one of those people.
Me and her had already eaten, but every Thursday in the bar of this restaurant they have a promotion where you get two Martinis for the price of one (of course the price of one Martini there is the same as two at numerous other places, but let’s not split hairs)
It was fantastic.
The whole place was an array of foppery and preening the likes of which I’ve never seen - there was air kissing, tossing of golden locks, catty checking out of other people’s handbags…..(all together now)…. AND THAT WAS JUST THE MEN!
Basically it was like being inside a Ferrero Rocher advert- which, by a spooky co-inky-dink, I saw three of at the weekend.
