Pun in the sun
More sun this weekend, and I’ve got two great puns to go with a couple of photos that I took.
Hang onto your hats, because these puns are of a quality that you don’t often find on this site.
I call this one “Hot News“(!)
and this one “Sun Showers” (!!) (umm because of all the umbrellas).
Yeah that’s all I’ve got today.
Interesting pun though the second one needed your description due to the image…yet interesting nevertheless…

Way to build up expectations so high they can never be met Creegan! You’ve hit a new all time low after you peaked with Bridge Over The River, 40 Kuai - now THAT was class! But you know what they say - you’re only as good as your last post, which makes this blog about as good as the girl who blogs about Shangers from …. er …. Sweden!
Everyone’s a critic, but just you wait, later on today I’m putting up some flan or other about tomato flavoured crisps. You won’t be laughing then!

What’s the matter? Worried the tomato flavoured crisps item would draw yet more criticism? Starting to feel the pressure now, eh?
Last night I was on the subway going under the Huangpu, when the lights all went out, the train stopped, and in the eery blackness a voice whispered in my ear:
“Listen up comrade, some of our friends in the party enjoy tomato-flavoured snacks. Maybe you should find something else to write about huh?”
Perhaps it was just a co-incidence, but I’m waiting to see if it happens again tonight before I make that post.
