Drunken Shrimp

When these prawns arrived to our table at the restaurant opposite my apartment, they were splashing around in their boozy marinade- we had to leave the lid on so that they wouldn’t jump out of the bowl.
Sadly their day was not to get much better, as I then ate them. Nor would they be comforted to learn that they didn’t taste all that great neither.
I think the (foreign) couple on the next table were vegetarians- she gave me a look that could peel paint.
